Maintenance, Premium or Factory Reset: which detail does your car need?
A simple way to choose between Every Detail's three core service levels based on the condition of your car.
The easiest way to choose a detailing package is to start with the car's current condition, not with the longest list of services. A car that was professionally detailed a month ago needs a very different visit from one that has been carrying kids, pets and daily-driver mess for a year.
At Every Detail, our three core services are built around those different starting points. Maintenance keeps an already-clean vehicle clean. Premium is the full detail we recommend for most vehicles that need a real catch-up. Factory Reset is for the cars where buildup, pet hair, stains, odor or neglect make a normal detail the wrong tool for the job.
Maintenance Detail: protect the baseline
Maintenance is for a vehicle that is already in good condition. The goal is not to reverse months of buildup. It is to stop that buildup from happening in the first place.
That makes it a good fit after a recent detail, for regularly cared-for vehicles, or as part of a routine where you would rather clean more often than wait until the car feels dirty again.
Premium Detail: the right starting point for most cars
Premium is our most common full-detail level. It goes beyond a maintenance visit with a deeper interior process and added exterior protection.
If your car is used every day and has the normal combination of dust, crumbs, fingerprints, dirty mats and exterior grime, Premium is usually the place to start. It is designed to get the vehicle fully caught up without treating normal use like an extreme-clean situation.
Factory Reset: when the mess has become the project
Factory Reset is the deepest level. It is for heavy pet hair, staining, odor, long-term buildup and vehicles that need significantly more time and process than a normal detail.
The important distinction is not whether the car is embarrassing or whether it "looks bad." It is whether the condition requires enough extra labor that a standard detail would be the wrong scope.
Still not sure?
Use the condition-based quote tool instead of guessing. Tell us what you drive, how the car looks now and the issues you care about. The recommendation is based on that information, and you can see the price for your vehicle before you decide what to book.
