Paint correction · Decatur + Atlanta

Make the paint
look right again.

Swirls, haze and light scratches live in the clear coat. Paint correction removes or reduces those defects so the finish looks deep and clear again.

What are you actually seeing?

Correction is not a generic shine treatment. The right service depends on what is interrupting the reflection in your paint.

01

Swirl marks

The spider-web pattern you see around a light source, usually from washing and drying.

02

Light to moderate scratches

Marks that sit in the clear coat. Deep scratches through the clear can be improved, not always removed.

03

Oxidation and haze

Dull, cloudy paint from sun exposure.

04

Uneven or faded gloss

Paint that looks flat even right after a wash.

The process

Inspect.
Correct.
Finish.

Three steps, in that order. We do not choose the package first and force the paint into it.

01

Inspect the finish

We evaluate the paint in direct light and determine how much correction makes sense for the condition and your goals.

02

Correct the defects

Machine polishing carefully levels microscopic clear-coat imperfections. Light defects may need one stage. More visible damage can require multiple stages.

03

Refine the result

The goal is not simply more shine. It is a cleaner reflection, better clarity and a finish that looks right in real light.

The result

A cleaner reflection, not a temporary cover-up.

Wax can add gloss. Correction changes the surface underneath that gloss. That is why the improvement remains after the first wash.

Choose the level

Two correction levels.
One simple decision.

We confirm the right level after seeing the paint. You are not expected to diagnose it yourself.

Before you book

Paint correction questions.

Enhancement polish or full correction — which one do I need?
An enhancement polish suits newer paint or paint that has lost its gloss. Full correction is for visible swirls, scratches and neglected paint. If you're not sure, request a quote. We'll look at the paint in person and match the process to the car.
Why is paint correction included with ceramic coating?
A coating locks in whatever is underneath it, swirls included. Correcting first means the coating bonds to clean, refined paint and the gloss you see is the gloss you keep.
Is a ceramic coating the same as wax?
No. Wax sits on top of the paint and wears off in weeks. A ceramic coating bonds to the clear coat and lasts years when it's maintained properly.
Will a ceramic coating stop scratches and rock chips?
No. It adds some resistance to light marring, but it does not make paint scratch-proof and it won't stop rock chips. For chip protection you'd want paint protection film.
What's the free follow-up detail?
Every 2-year ceramic coating includes a complimentary follow-up detail after installation. We come back, clean the car the right way for a coated finish, and check how the coating is holding up.
How do I take care of a coated car?
Keep washing it, just gently: a pH-neutral soap, clean mitts and soft drying towels, and no automatic brush washes. Regular maintenance details, or a Detail+ plan, keep a coating performing.
